About us

The Centre for Labor Action and Studies (CEREAL) of Guadalajara is an extension worker Development Project as a whole. The offices in western Mexico were opened in 1997 with the intention to provide closer attention to workers in the maquiladora industry, especially the electronic kind.

The maquiladoras, in general, are characterized mainly by their highly globalized production processes and its recurrent violation of the rights of workers. Given this reality, more and more widespread in the world, Development wants to offer these workers a service that allows them to know their rights and provide them an organized act in seeking alternative solutions.

Despite his expertise around a labor, Guadalajara cereal meets the same line of work as a whole CEREAL, ie

1. Driving groups of workers who want to organize.

2. Strengthening the cultural, religious and ideological of the working class.

3. By publicizing, promoting and defending human rights at work.

4. Building materials to disseminate the struggles of workers and their views.
